Mary Grassel began as both a Direct Care and a In-Direct Care Volunteer with Heart to Heart Hospice in February of 2005. Mary also helps with fundraisers as well as special projects for the nursing homes and assisted living centers we serve. Mary says that "volunteering is a ministry". Mary says " I feel like the Lord has led me to this, it is a gift for me to be able to help other people".
Peggy Day began as an In-Direct Care Volunteer with Heart to Heart Hospice in February 2005. Peggy also assists with fundraiser and special projects for our patients. Peggy says she "likes to be of service to her fellow man".
Diane Pruitt began as an In-Direct Care Volunteer with Heart to Heart Hospice in September 2003. Diane also helps with nursing home and assisted living projects as well as fundraisers and special projects for our patients. Diane says "it is a blessing to see the smiles on their faces". Diane also says "It is a blessing to me to see the smiles on their faces and to be able to brighten someone's day in some small way." |
