"Heart To Heart Hospice took care of my mother in March of 1992. They were a God-send. They were angels in nurses' uniforms!"

“Having had Heart To Heart Hospice with my brother, Bill, for 1 ˝ years, I had already developed a close relationship with the entire team. They became like family to us as we navigated the process of dying. It was the only choice for us when the time came to transition to the final season in mama’s life. The nurses went out of their way to arrange to have the same nurse and aide that had played such an important role in my brothers “story”. What a blessing for mama as well as Brenda, her caregiver, and myself. Her dignity was maintained, she was given impeccable care as well as tender love. There were many times over the last months when mama commented on how incredibly blessed she felt to have love and care from each of them. Her spiritual needs were met (as well as mine) always, just when we needed it. The most important story in a person’s life really culminates in those last, sweet weeks and months preparing to leave this earth. The way that it is approached determines memories for the loved ones left behind. Because of each you, I can treasure this time forever. I didn’t have to be a nurse, (as I am), but just her daughter. I will forever be indebted for the gift that you gave to me, both in losing mama and Bill. They are among my favorite memories."

"We would recommend Heart To Heart Hospice to anyone. I don't believe they could have done anything more. They went beyond what we could have ever wanted for mother. I had a physical therapist tell me they had a meeting at the hospital and one thing said was 'Heart To Heart Hospice was the best hospice. They wouldn't recommend any other.' Thank you all so much."

"When Chester would see Michelle (HHA) coming, he would light up. He loved her! She was a friend until the end for Chester and she will be for me as well. You couldn't ask for a better nurse than Lisa. She would explain things in a very down-to-earth way that anybody could understand and always wanted to make sure we were comfortable. If I ever get to the point that I need hospice, I will definately want Heart To Heart Hospice."

Their name stands for they care they gave her, heart to heart care........we couldn't have asked for more."

"Tom and I can't thank you enough for the support the day dad died. Allison was such a calm presence from the moment she arrived. She treated him with great care and tenderness. Tom and I were grateful to be at his side as he died and were terribly pleased that Allison provided such sweet, gentle words to him. I'll never forget when we sat dad up a little in bed to ease his congestion and breathing, and Allison just gently rubbed his back for some time. That type of tender care is excactly what we wanted from hospice caregivers, and each nurse dad had fit the bill! We thank each nurse who saw dad - you all are the best!"
- Susan Cheatham, Daugher of Neil Smith
