Heart To Heart Hospice, Inc. began as a vision for better end-of-life care for the residents of North Mississippi and Northwest Alabama. The first office was opened in Belmont, MS in May of 2001 and corporate and clinical offices are still maintained there today. The steady growth of the company led to the opening of six additional offices over the next five years. These seven offices allow us to effectively serve the residents of 22 counties in Mississippi and 6 counties in Alabama. The goal of Heart To Heart Hospice, Inc. is to provide comfort, care and quality of life after reasonable measures for cure have failed. Specifically, this means keeping the patients alert, comfortable and pain-free in the place of their choice, in the manner they wish and to give them the support needed to live and die in their own way, with dignity maintained. Our staff of 113 employees is proud to have made that goal a reality for over 900 patients. Heart To Heart Hospice, Inc. is a Medicare Certified agency and a proud member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Alabama Hospice Organization, Louisiana/Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. The structure of Heart To Heart Hospice, Inc. allows for individualized care for each patient that we serve. We make the care of our patient and their family our number one priority and thus, place no restrictions on the number or length of visits made by our staff. The frequency and duration of a visit is based solely on the patient needs. Additionally, no one will ever be denied services from Heart To Heart Hospice, Inc. due to their inability to pay. |
